My Take on Norwegian & Scandinavian History. 

Over the years I have written many historical short stories. The stories have been organized into 3 letter sized books, each 40 to 50 pages long. All aimed at people with an interest in Norway and Scandinavia. They offer easy and enjoyable reading, and highlight certain aspects of Scandinavian life and history, as I see fit to tell it. Book 1 deals with transportation, book 2 is primarily about military affairs while book 3 is about general cultural and historical issues. Book 4 has chapters relating the Norwegian Merchant marine, Naval Battles in the Great Nordic War, Spying, and model building. Each story has references at the end for those who want to research the material in more detail.

You can then change the font/page size with the magnifying glass next to the square. Every story contains illustrations, pictures and/or maps, but the book versions are somewhat more comprehensive than the web site versions below. 

Recently I have been writing for Slooper, the online magazine for Restauration Lodge 3-555 of Sons of Norway. Some of these stories are available on the web site of SoN's 3rd. Because of space constraints in the Slooper the stories are shortened compared to the corresponding stories found in my books.
